At SportsTechX, our mission is to be the driving force behind innovation and growth in this exciting industry. We believe in the power of SportsTech to transform the world of sports.

Since 2018, we’ve been mapping the entire SportsTech ecosystem and producing high-quality content to help people and organizations navigate it with ease. We’re committed to promoting the potential of SportsTech and creating a more transparent, aware, and mature sports technology landscape.

We’re also avid sports fans who love having a laugh at the fortunes of each others sports teams. And often (too often in some cases!) our own.

Our Team

Rohn Malhotra

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Rohn is a serial entrepreneur, sports nut and cinephile with 16+ years of experience. He began his career as a Management Consultant with KPMG, successfully exited his last startup in 2017, then entered the SportsTech industry in 2018, making Berlin his home. Is also a Venture Partner at a SportsTech VC firm.

Vishnu Dixit

Research

Vishnu is a passionate football enthusiast from Bangalore who also enjoys high-altitude trekking and has a keen interest in data science, particularly in the areas of machine learning and computer vision. With prior experience as a risk investigator at Amazon, he has developed strong analytical skills and is currently pursuing a Masters in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University.

Kimberly Fernandez

Business Development & Communications

Kimberly completed her Post Graduation from AISTS India and has a degree in Sports Management & Technology. A professional footballer from Mumbai, she also runs her own grassroots developmental academy and has been working in the sports industry ever since she graduated. She has volunteered at 3 different FIFA World Cups and is also passionate about Championing gender equality and equal opportunity in sport.

Rohit Laddha

Research

Rohit is a driven individual who holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from MIT WPU in Pune, India. With a strong passion for sports and data analysis, he has previously worked as a data analyst for a startup called Cricket Data, where he was responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing cricket data. Currently residing in Mumbai.

Swapneel Chatterjee

Marketing & Communications

Swapneel Heads Marketing & Communications at SportsTechX. An entrepreneurial Strategy and Sports Marketing professional, he graduated from the Sports Industries Management masters program at Georgetown University. His experience includes marketing roles at MLS team D.C. United, Gunston Soccer (Virginia, USA), and Indian media giant Viacom 18. Having worked with sports clubs, athletes, brands and agencies, he brings a unique perspective to help solve marketing challenges in the SportsTech sphere.

Khyati Choudhary

Marketing & Communications

Khyati is part of the Marketing & Communications team at SportsTechX. She is also pursuing her Masters in Communication & Journalism

Atiriya Narayan

Research

Atiriya is a Research Analyst at SportsTechX. She is also pursuing a Computer Studies major and a double minor in Business Management and Media Studies.
