💰 Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia will form a new sports, entertainment and real estate investment group called Player 15 that will house the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury and the newly acquired G-League team for the Suns.
💰 Delhi-based Push Sports, with a mission to encourage active outdoor sports as the premier fitness option for children and young adults, secured Rs. 80 lacs ($96.4k) in funding on Shark Tank India, led by renowned Indian entrepreneurs.
💰 A patented sports trainer designed to propel athletes toward peak performance, Hyperlab’s ‘Helios’, sealed an investment of Rs 25 lakh ($24.1k) on Shark Tank India.
💰 London based VR/AR fitness company FitXR raised an undisclosed amount from Circle Rock Capital
💰 WIT secured an undisclosed investment from McCarthy Capital as part of the firm’s Emerging Growth strategy.
🤝DraftKings Inc. announced the acquisition of the US based lottery app Jackpocket for approximately $750 million.

The second edition of our ‘Sports Tech Connect: India’ series was held on Thursday evening, Feb 22, at a sports bar (RCB Bar & Cafe) in Bangalore.
