With their central theme being innovation in fan engagement, last month, we had the pleasure of speaking at the DARE TO RISE Impact Contest in Cologne – an EHF Champions League start-up competition. This interaction with all the stakeholders got us to reflect on the relationship that sports clubs have with their fans and vice versa.  For sporting clubs and teams there is a clear lacuna in fan data and for fans the big question is, how do we become more involved with the game we love and the team we support?
